The Basic Description of Extruders

Two types of welding are used for connecting of plates and foils. The first one is welding by adding extra material. Representative of this technology is the universal extruder ES 2, which can weld a wide thickness range of plastic plates and foils. The second type is welding of foils using hot wedge. Representative of this technology is the wedge welding machine SKA, which can be used for welding of hydro insulating foils intended for ground insulation on construction sites, dump disposal sites, etc. In our continuous efforts to improve the quality and definition of the process of these technologies, we now record all data available in the machine´s internal memory with subsequent possibility of printing the weld protocol or downloading it to a PC.

Advantages of ES Line of Extruders

• special design of the welding boot permits rotation of 360˚ and therefore allows welding in hard to reach places
• independent and accurate control of the melting chamber and pre-heating temperatures is the basis for a quality weld
• electronic protection of the driving mechanism blocks running of the extruder until the material has reached the required temperature
• compact construction with control pannel in the pre-heating space
